Phil Mordey (2nd Dan) - Kensho Operations Manager

Phil journey with KENSHO Karate began when he encouraged his five-year-old daughter to take up karate. Inspired by her progress and the club’s ethos, Phil soon joined himself — initially for fitness, but it quickly became a passion.

Now a 2nd Dan black belt, Phil has earned numerous national and international medals in both Kata and Kumite, including competing at the WUKF World Championships in 2023.

Today, Phil is the Operations Manager for both KENSHO Karate and RYUKYU Gi, playing a key role in their growth and day-to-day operations.

Jonny Gough Jnr (3rd Dan) - SEKA Vice President and Support Manager

In addition to his role as a dedicated squad instructor, Jonny serves as Vice President of SEKA and Operational Support Manager. His responsibilities include providing comprehensive support to competitors before and during events, as well as assisting in the squad selection process.
